Gary Gold-Moritz joined the Public Justice Foundation as Chief Operating Officer in October 2010. Previously, Gary was COO at the Children’s Law Center in Washington, serving in that capacity for five years. Gary received his J.D. in 1993 from the Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley, where he was an editor of the California Law Review.

Deborah Mathis came to the Public Justice Foundation in January 2007 as Communications Director. She was previously vice president of media and communications for an Africa trade consulting firm and had provided strategic communications services to the Children’s Defense Fund, a Turkish media holding company, and the ACLU of Maryland.

Kevin Sturtevant, CFRE, Development Director, arrived at the Public Justice Foundation in March 2011, after nearly twenty years in fundraising. He has spent his career working for national and international organizations, including World Food Program USA, the Human Rights Campaign, Reading Is Fundamental, and many others.

Mary Kidwell began as Fiing Clerk and Administrative Assistant in the West Coast Office in June 2007, but by the end of that year, she was named Legal Assistant.  She brings to Public Justice a myriad of skills including doing research and evaluation in museum settings; administering accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations; and teaching in elementary classrooms.

Before coming to Public Justice, Tonia had three years of gift processing experience with the United States Naval Academy Foundation.  In her capacity at the Foundation, Tonia provides much-needed assistance in processing and database operations.

Katie Golieb joined the Public Justice Foundation in September 2011 as Development Program Assistant. Before arriving at Public Justice, she worked in the non-profit sector and gained several years of experience in administrative, fundraising and development work.
