Bryant, TLPJ, 510-622-8150 x 202 OREGON ATTORNEY SUSAN VOGEL SALADOFF ELECTED PRESIDENT OF THE TLPJ FOUNDATION Activist trial lawyer Susan Vogel Saladoff of Davis, Gilstrap, Hearn, Saladoff & Smith P.C. in Ashland, Oregon, was elected President of The TLPJ Foundation on July 15 at the organization’s annual membership meeting in Montreal. The Foundation is the nonprofit parent of Trial Lawyers for Public Justice (TLPJ), the national public interest law firm specializing in precedent-setting tort and damage litigation. "Susan is one of our nation’s most dedicated advocates of public justice," said outgoing TLPJ Foundation President Peter Perlman of Lexington, Kentucky. "We are thrilled to have such a distinguished leader to help launch the 20th anniversary year of TLPJ." A successful and established trial lawyer, Ms. Saladoff is an active member of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association and of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. She serves on the Judicial Selection Committee of the Women’s Bar Association, and has served as a Member of the Board of Governors of the Trial Lawyers Association of Metropolitan D.C. Ms. Saladoff received her J.D., with honors, in 1983 from George Washington University Law School. Her association with TLPJ is long-standing: she served as a TLPJ law clerk during law school and then as TLPJ’s sole Staff Attorney until 1984. One other Oregon attorney serves on The TLPJ Foundation’s board: Past TLPJ Foundation President Jeffrey P. Foote of Jeffrey Foote & Associates in Portland. Four other attorneys were elected as new officers of The TLPJ Foundation:
