R.E.M. Benefit

On Friday, April 10, fans of R.E.M. and Public Justice gathered in Carrboro, N.C. for a viewing of the movie "R.E.M. by MTV" and participated in a PopUp Chorus. Both Executive Director Paul Bland and Former President Mona Lisa Wallace spoke about the important work of Public Justice to the over 300 attendees. The event raised over $5,000, and all of the proceeds went to support the Public Justice Foundation. We want to thank Vivian Connell for making this event both entertaining and successful.
