
Lucia Goin
Staff Attorney
Lucia is an attorney in the Access to Justice Project. She litigates appeals and dispositive motions with the goal of ensuring the availability and equitability of the civil justice system. Before joining Public Justice, Lucia litigated immigrants’ rights, prison conditions, and other civil rights cases across the country at the Southern Poverty Law Center, the Civil Rights Clinic at Georgetown University Law Center, and as a fellow at Cohen, Milsten, Sellers, & Toll. She clerked for Judge Richard A. Paez on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and she is a graduate of U.C. San Diego, Columbia University, and the University of Chicago Law School.
Lucia is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and California. She is a member of the bars of the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the D.C., Third, Eighth, and Eleventh Circuits, and the U.S. District Court for the District of D.C.
