Since August 2025, Blaike Bibbs has served as the External Affairs Coordinator at Public Justice, where she supports the organization’s Board of Directors and executive leadership by serving as a liaison between board members and staff. In this role, she coordinates board engagement, assists with governance initiatives, and helps plan and execute the organization’s annual board meetings and conferences. Blaike also provides strategic support to board members, ensuring they have the resources and coordination needed to advance Public Justice’s mission.
Previously, under the Biden-Harris Administration, Blaike served as a political appointee as Special Advisor to Dr. Kimberly McClain, Assistant Secretary for Congressional and Intergovernmental Relations at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Before joining HUD, she served as a political appointee at the U.S. Department of Transportation as Special Assistant in the Office of Secretary Pete Buttigieg.
Blaike has more than eight years of experience in congressional relations, executive operations, stakeholder engagement, and nonprofit leadership. Her career spans federal government, Congress, and the nonprofit sector, where she has built and maintained relationships with elected officials, organizational leaders, and diverse stakeholder groups.
Before serving in the Biden-Harris Administration, Blaike worked for Congresswoman Anna Eshoo as Director of Operations, managing the office’s daily operations, personnel management, and correspondence with the House Committee on Energy and Commerce. She also served as Scheduler and Executive Assistant to Congresswoman Joyce Beatty during her tenure as Chair of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC). In that role, Blaike served as a key liaison between the Congresswoman’s personal office and the CBC, coordinating communications and engagement with caucus members.
Blaike’s congressional engagement experience began before her time on Capitol Hill. In 2019, she joined the Congressional App Challenge as Congressional Operations Coordinator, where she managed relationships with more than 250 Members of Congress and their offices participating in the nationwide STEM education initiative.
Blaike holds a Master of Public Policy (M.P.P.) from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Arts from North Carolina State University. She is an alumna of the WeLead Program at American University and is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
