Krista Selnau Camarda is the Director of Principal Giving at Public Justice. Before joining Public Justice, Krista held senior fundraising and communications roles at Women’s Congressional Policy Institute, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, and Equal Justice Works. She began her career as a public interest attorney and Equal Justice Works Fellow at Legal Aid of Arkansas, where she founded a medical-legal partnership for children with cancer and their families, providing representation on public benefits and special education matters. She later practiced veterans law at Pine Tree Legal Assistance in Maine, where she founded a medical-legal partnership serving veterans experiencing homelessness. Krista currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Washington Council of Lawyers and the Equal Justice Works Alumni Advisory Council and previously served as Board Chair of Ms. JD. She earned her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School and graduated summa cum laude from Curry College with her bachelor’s degree. Outside of work, Krista enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and son, their dog and two cats.
