Public Justice Foundation Board Member Service Requirements:
Members of the Public Justice Foundation Board of Directors are expected to engage actively in the organization and to support the organization’s fundraising initiatives. More specifically, they are expected to:
1. Contribute or raise at least $5,000 per year, attend an average of at least two meetings per year during term, and serve on at least one committee
OR
1. Contribute or raise at least $40,000, waiving requirements for meeting attendance and committee service.
Past Presidents, however, are excluded from these service requirements.

The Board meets in person four times a year for three hours each time. (The Executive Committee meets in person around the time of the Board meetings, and by phone at other times as necessary.) Two meetings are held in conjunction with the AAJ Winter and Summer Conventions. The two remaining meetings are held in different locations around the country (one is often in Washington, D.C.). Attendance at two Board meetings per year is required. Travel expenses are not reimbursed.
