Kleinhesselink v. Stillwater Mining Company

This lawsuit on behalf of a former mine safety coordinator sought compensation for his job-related emotional injuries from the Stillwater Mining Company in Montana. The Montana Supreme Court ruled in 1996 that workers can sue their employers for job-related emotional injuries, since the state’s workers’ compensation system provides no compensation for them.
