Raymond James Financial Services v. Saldukas

Raymond James Financial Services v. Saldukas

Public Justice won a unanimous decision from the Florida Supreme Court in 2005, holding that an investment broker had waived its right to compel an investor into arbitration. The Florida Court said that the investor was not required to prove that he had suffered economic prejudice as a consequence of the broker’s conduct in order to establish a waiver.

Public Justice’s Paul Bland argued the appeal.

Co-counsel were former Public Justice attorneys Richard Frankel and Michael Quirk, as well as Chris Vernon of Naples, Fla.
