Brianna Dimas
Brianna Dimas is the Managing Director of Communications for Public Justice. She has fifteen years of experience in public affairs, communications, and program management. Most recently, she served at the American Immigration Council and the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in Washington D.C.
At the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, she developed several programs including the Avanzar small business accelerator and the Elevate Together program. Under Brianna’s leadership, the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s CORE4 STEM Program, now in its 16th year, received a “Bright Spot in Education Award” from the White House under President Barack Obama.
Brianna volunteers her time on several boards and commissions including the Public Private Strategies Institute, the Texas Public Radio Generation Listen Board, the Hispanic Scholarship Fund, the Hispanic Womens Network of Texas, and the Latinas Represent National Advisory Committee.
In 2018, she was selected by the San Antonio Business Journal as one of the “40 Under 40” award recipients.
A graduate of New York University, Brianna holds a Bachelors Degree in Journalism. Her passions include storytelling, education, equity, public policy, and leadership development.
She is a proud first generation college graduate and was selected as a 2024 Aspen Institute Ideas Fellow.
